How to use it
- Tap Add activity and choose Purchase or Sale. Add purchase from Today opens the purchase form directly.
- Enter Amount paid or Sale amount and choose the relevant category.
- Open Show date and notes to check Date and any notes before saving.
- Tap Save Purchase or Save Sale, then open the saved row to review or correct it.
What the numbers and terms mean
Purchase records money paid; Sale records money received. Net hobby spend subtracts recorded sales from purchases for the period. Transaction dates determine which period the activity belongs to.
Worked example
Record a $40 purchase and a later $25 collector sale as two entries. Their net hobby spend is $15; neither entry should be replaced with a $15 purchase.
Before you rely on this
History does not replace Pro seller item-cost, fee and shipping bookkeeping. Check possible-duplicate warnings before saving again; changing an entry is different from creating another one.
